Quick commerce unicorn Zepto's monthly subscription for its data analytics tool, Atom, will be priced upwards of Rs 30,000 for consumer brands.

The quarterly subscription will be priced at Rs 30,000 or 0.5% of the subscriber’s gross merchandise value (GMV) of the previous month, whichever is higher, Aadit Palicha, Co-founder and CEO of Zepto, announced in a closed-door briefing for its brand partners on Friday.

In a bid to increase adoption, Zepto has already initiated free trials until the end of the month. It is also offering an early bird access priced marginally lower at Rs 25,000 or 0.4% of GMV. The analytics tool would offer unlimited logins per account and will be billed monthly.

Launched today, Friday, Atom marks Zepto's foray into consumer tech SaaS, putting it against those offered by Kantar and Nielsen. However, it will continue to provide basic data on sales and fill rates to brands free of cost.

The data analytics, which is trained on Zepto's exhaustive data sets, would offer hyperlocal real-time data down to the last dark store and product levels, along with plans to add comparative data graphs and other features.

Atom subscription would also feature a Natural Language Processing (NLP) assistant, 'Zepto GPT', trained on Gemini and ChatGPT foundation models. It is expected to go live next week.

This marks Zepto's first move into B2B software subscription revenue, as the company looks to diversify its income streams and focus on profitability in the highly competitive quick commerce space.

Zepto's advertising business has already crossed Rs 1,000 crore in annualised advertising revenue in November 2024. On the consumer side, it phased out its Zepto Pass subscription programme only to replace it with a Daily subscription.

Earlier this year, Zomato launched Nugget, an AI-based customer support platform for businesses, which was initially developed as an internal tool.
