Hal Finney’s first remarks on BITCOIN were that “simple altruism can suffice to keep the network running properly.”
I believe there's something important about what the BitAxe lottery miners are doing, in tandem with what Ocean mining pool and Bitcoin Knots. There is a synergy of incentives and Bitcoin ethos in all three. If every Bitcoin Node runner, was also a BitAxe lottery miner, pointing their hash at Ocean pool, or solo lottery mining with Ocean's DATUM server, I think Bitcoin would be stronger and more decentralized for it.
