Beauty ecommerce platform Nykaa allots shares worth Rs 32 lakh
Falguni Nayyar-led beauty marketplace Nykaa has allotted shares 17,010 shares worth Rs 32 lakhs under its employee stock option plan.


Beauty ecommerce platform Nykaa said on Sunday that it has granted 17,010 equity shares under its employee stock option scheme (ESOP), marking its second allotment this year.
"The Equity Shares so allotted, shall rank pari-passu with the existing Equity Shares of the Company in all respect," the company stated in a filing made with the exchange.
Based on Nykaa's opening price of Rs 190 per share, the allotment is worth over Rs 32.3 lakh.
ESOPs are a form of compensation that enables companies to attract and retain top talent while also providing employees with the opportunity to increase their income as the company's value appreciates.
Earlier in February, the company allotted 90,500 equity shares under its Employee Stock Option (ESOP) Scheme, worth about Rs 1.49 crore.
In November last year, the company allotted 1.80 lakh equity shares under its ESOP plan. Before this, it allotted 3.08 lakh equity shares under ESOP in October 2024, taking its cumulative allotment in the December quarter to about 4.8 lakh equity shares. Earlier last year, FSN E-commerce Ventures, the parent company of Nykaa, allotted 4.73 lakh shares in June, 1.73 lakh shares in July, and 4.05 lakh in May.
Earlier this month, another company, Mamaearth-parent Honasa Consumer granted 24.16 lakh stock options under its ESOP-2018 plan worth around Rs 57 crore.
