We’re Still Early—And Here’s Why!
I really believe we’re still early! I’m a grad student living in the U.S., and I was introduced to Bitcoin about eight months ago. At first, I was pretty frustrated with myself for not learning about it sooner—I even had a bit of an existential crisis wondering how I could have overlooked something so important. I thought entering Bitcoin in 2024 meant I was too late. But I’ve come to realize that I’m not—and neither are you. Over the past few months, I’ve tried (unsuccessfully) to convince close friends and family about Bitcoin’s significance. What really surprised me, though, is that even highly tech-savvy people don’t get it. I have friends who are engineers at major U.S. tech companies; CEOs of AI startups , high-level directors in FinTech in the Middle East, and even professors studying the history of science and technology in major US universities. Yet, almost none of them truly understand Bitcoin. To them, it’s just another cryptocurrency, and they don’t see the massive historical shift happening right now.
