The convertible bond issuances are here to stay for the next few months
The state of the 21/21 plan is such that for the immediate future Strategy will continue to issue convertible bonds to fuel bitcoin purchases. In the medium to long term, this will ‘load the spring’ so to speak. From my understanding, in the short term this could potentially drive Strategy’s stock price lower while investors purchase the convertible bonds and simultaneously short the stock, creating sell pressure. What else can we expect in the short term? Assume that Saylor is going to use convertible bonds to fuel the next 8 weeks of btc purchases.
