Lightning login > Google login

I tried some websites and social apps like Stacker News that don't have Google login but have Lightning login instead. This was the original vision for the internet. There was a HTTP status code (402) for payment through internet-native currency. We have the internet-native currency and we have the payment protocol with Lightning. Why don't all websites have Lightning login option? Imagine a world where you could directly tip authors for an article or make remittance payments worldwide without friction or middlemen. It's now possible to even link your email to Lightning address and receive payments via email. So why don't we have Lighting everywhere? submitted by /u/HealthyMolasses8199 [link] [comments]
