Leaving Bitcoin on exchanges

I don’t want to pay large withdrawal fees as the exchange I am using charges 0.0002BTC withdrawal fees. Is it okay to leave $5000+ on an exchange like Independent Reserve in order to lower the total withdrawal fee percent. Because if I withdraw $1000 every time around 2.6% is taken whereas if I withdraw $5000 at a time only about 0.5% is taken. So far I haven’t seen any better Australian exchanges than this and all the other exchanges like Strike charge crazy fees when converting the AUD to USD. What is my best solutions. I have done a lot of research and can’t seem to find many great options. The other option I have would be to buy BTC directly through my Trezor Safe 3 wallet but apparently this isn’t the best way to do it. I’m just trying to figure out how to get the most BTC for my money, I didn’t realise just how many fees were involved. submitted by /u/Electrical_Fly9535 [link] [comments]
