Is it ok to do it this way?

I’ve set up a friend with a Trezor cold wallet. He’s got his seed phrase on metal and backed up. He buys his BTC via Strike and sends it over to cold storage every 0.1 BTC he accumulates to avoid too many UTXOs. However, he’s going to be going travelling for 7-8 months and won’t be bringing any laptop with him or that. He’s not very tech savvy to begin with. So he wanted to know if he took a screenshot of the QR code of his cold storage wallet address and used that same address to send his BTC to from Strike every time he accumulates a nice few Sats would that be ok to do? I told him yes, but it would be to the same address each time. Any thoughts on this or any other recommendations? Basically he won’t be able to generate a new address in his trezor to send his BTC as he travels for 7-8 months. submitted by /u/nextstopwhoknows [link] [comments]
