I plan to put my life savings in Bitcoin

Hi fellow Bitcoiners! I have around $15K set aside as an emergency fund. Right now, it’s just sitting in a regular bank account - not even a HYSA, therefore earning 0% interest lol. I've recently started investing, and I’m currently DCA’ing 50/50 into Bitcoin and ETFs. My current investment portfolio is still much less compared to my savings. Lately, I’ve been wondering: has anyone here shifted their mindset to view Bitcoin more like a savings account rather than just an investment? I’m not talking about abandoning ETFs or stocks, but more about holding the majority of my net worth in Bitcoin instead of fiat sitting in the bank - while still continuing to DCA into both each month. Also my though process is that Bitcoin is a lot more liquid than every other asset class - I can just transfer some at 3AM to an exchange, convert to fiat and transfer to my bank acc. The same is not true for stocks, ETFs, real estate or even gold. Please tell me what are your thoughts. I am open to criticism as well, so please roast me if this is a dumb idea lol. submitted by /u/Old_Difficulty_6484 [link] [comments]
