Having Issues with Blockstream Jade – Looking for Advice
I’ve received two defective Blockstream Jade units, both with the same issue—the right button is jammed in and doesn’t respond. Blockstream has been great to work with, but they keep sending me defective units, which is frustrating. Blockstream has given me a few options: Settle for the non-metal Jade Plus, which they say doesn’t have the button issue. Wait a couple of weeks for the new shipment of metal Jades, which supposedly has the button issue resolved. Get a refund and go with another wallet like the Coldcard. Do I trust Blockstream’s word that the next batch of metal Jades won’t have the button issue, or should I just look elsewhere? Is Coldcard the better option? What would you do? I’d like to add that a couple of buddies of mine had the original Jade. One of them dropped it on their tile floor, and it ended up breaking.
