Hi all, for the first time ever, I am attempting to run a Bitcoin node and it has been 10 days so far and I'm only at 61.5% in my progress to download and synchronize the Bitcoin blockchain. I'm excited to be running my own node and hope to contribute to the strength of the network. How long did it take you to download and synchronize the entire blockchain? How has your experience been running a node? Are there additional configuration steps I need to do, such as opening a port? Any suggestions you can offer to improve the experience and benefits?
