Krafton leads investment in JetSynthesys to fuel growth

Digital entertainment and technology company, JetSynthesys on Wednesday said it has received an investment from South Korea-based gaming company Krafton with participation from NAFA Private Equity and existing investors Pratithi Investments, Serum Institute, and the Jetline Group.

The investment will be utilised and reflects the company’s target of achieving 20x revenue growth over the next six years as it looks to scale across international markets and deepen its India footprint.

JetSynthesys reported a 15% rise in profit after tax for the last fiscal year at a time when economic and structural challenges are impacting the wider media and entertainment industry, the company said.

The company is looking to strengthen its position in India through targeted acquisitions and organic growth and replicating its India playbook globally including Japan, the US, UK, Southeast Asia, among others.

“This is a defining moment in JetSynthesys’ journey. We’re expanding from being a new age family office led company to an India first global platform, now open to world-class strategic and financial partners. With Krafton’s trust and shared vision, we’re accelerating our ambition to scale 20x over the next six years,” said Rajan Navani, Founder and CEO at JeySynthesys.

“This investment further fuels our mission to build culturally rooted, globally relevant digital experiences—deepening our leadership in India and expanding into key international markets through IP-led innovation, local partnerships, and strategic acquisitions,” Navani added.

The Pune-based company last raised $5.37 million as part of a Series B funding round in March last year. The company is valued at $410 million as of June 2024, according to Tracxn.
