I want to put 10k spare that I have on BTC. Since it’s ATH should I wait or just do it now?
Hi, started investing one year ago with big focus on tech (45% S&P500, 45% Nasdaq100, 10% SMH), I’m 21 working 2 jobs in tech, currently have about 200k in savings, contributing about 2k a month and dump whatever cash I have when the market is low. I want to start investing in bitcoin, friend told me about when I was in highschool in 2020, when it was pretty low in the 20K but I had no money and my parents didn’t want to invest. My question is (and please answer without making jokes) - should I wait for bitcoin to drop for like 70K to put my money, or should I just put it now and leave it there and come back in 5 years or something. I am not scared of losing -50% since it’s just 10k and I can take it as a teaching fee if I lose half of it. Already saw that I have thick skin when the US Stock market fell last month and only contributed more money into my portfolio.
