Ex-Flipkart exec Peeyush Ranjan joins Mukesh Bansal's Meraki Labs
As part of his role at Meraki Labs, Ranjan will work with early stage startups in building tech as well as joining Nurix AI as board member.


Mukesh Bansal's Meraki Labs has appointed ex-Flipkart CTO, Peeyush Ranjan, as Partner to incubate next-generation technology startups.
In his previous role, Ranjan was General Manager and Vice President of Engineering at Google, where he was responsible for shaping AI-driven products including Google Assistant and parts of Gemini app. He was also responsible for scaling Google Pay and Google Workspace.
In his role at venture studio Meraki Labs, Ranjan will work with entrepreneurs to shape technology and product strategy, build high-performing teams, and scale.
"With his deep product mindset and engineering leadership, he will play a key role in building new companies, leading our AI vision, and helping Meraki establish a strong presence in Silicon Valley. Peeyush has built many large-scale products from scratch, used by 100s of millions of people around the world and has a very strong pulse on emerging tech trends," said Mukesh Bansal, Founder of Meraki Labs in a press note.
Last year, Meraki Labs-incubated agentic AI startup Nurix Ai raised $27.5 million in its seed-series A funding, co led by General Catalyst and Accel, along with Meraki Labs. Nurix AI specialises in building custom AI agents with proprietary human-like voice and reasoning abilities to fuel productivity and enhance customer experiences for global enterprises. Ranjan will also be joining be Nurix AI as a Board Member.
