Axtrolite

Atul Alatkar, a longtime engineering leader with experience at Amazon and Microsoft, is the founder of Axtrolite, a stealthy startup in the real estate property management sector. Alatkar tells GeekWire he’s in the early stages of customer discovery. He was most recently head of engineering at permit processing startup dodda and director of engineering at IT management company Virtana.

Context Nature

Green incentives, or clean energy-related tax credits, aren’t always easy to find. Context Nature’s software is designed to help finance and tax professionals identify and prequalify for green tax credits. The 2-year-old company recently participated in the Entrepreneur Roundtable Accelerator. Context Nature co-founder and CEO Ephi Banaynal dela Cruz spent a decade at Microsoft in sustainability roles and previously led SAP’s sustainability strategy. She co-founded Context Nature with longtime designer Sylvia Vaquer, co-founder of marketing agency SociaFabrica.

Chassy

Founded in 2023, Chassy is a Techstars Seattle grad building technology to help test, deploy, and operate software for robotic fleets. The startup just landed a $1.2 million pre-seed round led by Schematic Ventures, with participation from Techstars. Chassy co-founder and CEO Chuka Okoye previously helped launch Lyft’s self-driving infrastructure team. He founded Chassy with Mathew LeJeune, who held senior product designer roles at Fitbit and NVIDIA.

Haply

In a bid to bolster connections between neighbors, Haply wants to help Homeowners Associations manage resident requests, policies, and maintenance. Its app also features a used goods marketplace and shows deals from home services businesses. The company has launched in more than 35 HOA communities. Haply Founder and CEO Prasad Anguluri is a Seattle tech vet who worked at Starbucks and Oracle.

Vercept

Led by former research leaders at the Allen Institute for AI, Vercept wants to change how people use computers with its software that responds to natural language commands and navigates across different applications on a device. GeekWire covered Vercept earlier this year and the startup this week revealed more about its product called Vy and an AI model called VyUI. Vercept CEO Kiana Ehsani spent four years at Ai2 and earned a PhD in computer science from the University of Washington. Her co-founders include former Ai2 CEO Oren Etzioni, along with former Ai2 researchers Matt Deitke, Luca Weihs, and Ross Girshick.
