Before Feb. 19, the stock market was seemingly unstoppable. The widely tracked Dow Jones Industrial Average (DJINDICES: ^DJI), broad-based S&P 500 (SNPINDEX: ^GSPC), and growth-dependent Nasdaq Composite (NASDAQINDEX: ^IXIC) all achieved numerous record-closing highs.
